A screen built to be carried, stacked and repaired.
Cedar and steel, about eleven and a half pounds, with legs that fold flat and mesh you can change yourself.
The short version
The basket is western red cedar, chosen because it stays light after a wet week. Every joint is screwed with stainless and glued, so the frame does not rack when it is loaded and shaken all day.
The legs are three quarter inch steel tube and they fold flat against the basket, which is the difference between fitting four screens in a truck and fitting two. The five inch profile means they stack.
The mesh is held down by aluminium strapping rather than staples. To replace a quarter inch screen you cut it off the spool, fold three squares on each side, and screw the straps back down. That is the whole job, and it can be done at the truck.

Folded

Corner brackets
Optional L brackets at the corners. They add strength and give somewhere to scrape a trowel or knock a shovel without chewing the wood.

Per screen, standard size and quarter inch mesh. Shipping is quoted separately, because a screen is bulky freight and the cost depends entirely on where it is going. Custom sizes, mesh and bracket options are quoted per order.
